Seth Kamens is the managing member of Kamens & Associates. His education and work experience in financial services, accounting and entrepreneurial endeavors uniquely qualifies him to work well with individuals, startups and closely held businesses.
As a CPA and former financial advisor, he offers clients a powerful and diverse background to help his clients achieve both their short-term and long-term financial goals.
Prior to starting Kamens & Associates, Seth worked at Gassman & Golodny, a small CPA firm in New York City with an accentuation on individual tax and financial planning. Seth has also worked previously at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Deloitte & Touche and Cohn Reznick LLP. He holds an MS in Accounting from Pace University, an MBA from George Washington University with a joint focus in Finance and International Business, and a BA from the University of Maryland. . He is a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant, and currently holds Series 7, 66, Life and Health Insurance licenses.
In addition to his professional and educational experience, Seth has also combined his love of sports and entrepreneurial spirit by being a co-founder of the popular sports website BackSportsPage.com. .In his spare time, Seth enjoys hosting his weekly sports radio show, traveling, playing tennis and being an awesome husband to Carly and dad to Jake.
Marc Hirschberg is a principal at Kamens & Associates LLC.
With 20 years of experience, his clients have ranged from start-up entrepreneurs to established companies with revenues up to $100 million.
His real world, practical advice provides his privately-held clients with the knowledge necessary to have a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Marc has a deep knowledge of audits, tax compliance, compilations, and reviews. He addresses clients’ needs by analyzing key performance indicators, reviewing internal control systems and conducting financial analysis in order to recommend solutions and suggestions to drive profitability.
Prior to joining Kamens & Associates LLC, Marc worked for JH Cohn, LLP in New Jersey as an auditor and most recently at Sobel & Company LLC as a Supervisor. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Marc earned his Bachelors of Sciences in Business administration with a concentration in accounting in May of 1997. Marc gives back by working with nonprofits in the community.
