Kamens & Associates proudly participated in a recent Firm Day at Life Town Shoppes, headquartered in Livingston, NJ. 

Life Town Shoppes is an innovative educational program designed to help students with special needs build confidence, independence, and essential life skills through hands-on experiences in realistic storefront environments.

Life Town Shoppes provides a supportive, modified real-world setting where students can practice everyday tasks and workplace interactions while developing the skills necessary for greater independence. As part of the firm’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, members of the Kamens & Associates team volunteered their time to work alongside students, assisting with activities and providing encouragement.

During the event, team members participated in a variety of interactive experiences across Life Town Shoppes’ simulated businesses, including a beauty salon, ice cream stand, bank, grocery store, and other storefronts. By engaging directly with students, Kamens & Associates helped create meaningful opportunities for participants to strengthen social, communication, and workplace skills while gaining confidence in performing everyday responsibilities.
