Seth Kamens, CPA,MBA, Managing Member at Kamens & Associates was a recent guest on “Humans in Accounting”  hosted by Alex Román.  

In a wide-ranging interview, Kamens discussed the importance of building trust with clients, growing a firm through networking, scaling organically and the rise of Kamens & Associates.

Kamens reflected on his beginning stages of branching off and starting his own business, emphasizing how he “progressively built and hustled and went to networking meetings,” eventually leading to building a small practice. Kamens spoke about his own role and how he was different than the Big Fours. 

Kamens stressed the value of being attentive and listening to your clients wants and needs. He  highlighted the importance of networking and relationship building as essential to business growth.
